I've been using Southern Pest Control for several years to perform my annual termite inspections for my Suffolk VA residence. I'd like to pass on my thanks for the professionalism shown by the inspector I had today, Matthew M. He has been here in the past as well, and he's always polite, and he always does a great job. It gives me peace of mind knowing he'll do a thorough inspection, especially of my crawlspace. It would be so easy to just enter that cramped environment a few feet, act like you're really inspecting, and then proclaim all is clear. It takes a person with integrity to do this job. Southern Pest Control resonates are professional, kind, and extremely detailed. It is so easy to talk with them and explain where I would like them to spray. Excellent customer service via phone and onsite. My service tech, Linwood was very polite , friendly and knowledgable. He was on time and ensured all my pets were safe prior to starting to spray my home. He addressed my concerns on the spot. I had an invasion of the Asian Lady Beatles and since he serviced my home they are no longer an issue. I am on a service schedule with SPC and will recommend to neighbors, friends and family.

Matt was our technician, and he was outstanding! Matt did a Termite Inspection since we are selling our home, and he also gave us an estimate on a crawl space Fungus Treatment. Matt was punctual; thorough, he explained everything to us. Jared F was our technician on Friday March 14, 2025 and he was the best. I have a major fear of spiders and while his initial reason for servicing was our annual termite inspection, I asked if he could spray the perimeter of the house since it seems that the warm weather is here to stay and they (the Spiders) will begin to make their exits from their nest. Not only did he do an extensive spray he also knocked down the old webs that were around the windows and the edges of the house. He also gave me a time schedule of when I should call back for another spray. I will always request that Jared come and handle our services and you should too.Thank you Jared and thank you Southern Pest Control for making him part of your work family.

We've used Southern Pest for over 25 years and been extremely pleased. About our third year, we experienced a termite issue. SP immediately came out, repaired the damage, and implemented a mitigation strategy that has resulted in no recurrence. Ant problems have periodically occurred and SP comes out immediately to spray and lay traps. In all these years they have been prompt, courteous, and effective.

Matt arrived on time. He greeted me with a smile and he asked, How I was doing? Then, he proceeded to tell me what he was there to do and the procedure. Plus, Matt informed me that he would spray outside and he asked whether I would like him to spray indoors too. Matt, offered full pest control services. After, he looked under my house, the crawl space, he gave a full report of his findings. I appreciated Matt informing me of the process he was performing and his findings. He was very efficient.

They came out got contract signed but couldnt do a complete treatment due to weather that day, technician told me i would have a call the following monday to reschedule that treatment NO CALLS yet. Now im being hounded to pay my monthly fee and they have never completed my intial contract which i paid a down payment of 96 bucks.So basically they took my money and ran.

Don’t use this company if you value customer service. Also don’t use this company if you want a proper inspection. We have used them for years and keep complaining that they don’t spend enough time inspecting under the house. They spend less than 10 mins under a 4300 sq foot house, and for years have missed a subfloor that is rotten and caving in and now having to be replaced. Called to cancel our contract because of these issues and was told that I can’t cancel because I already renewed. Said I would have to speak to a manager, and they would leave a message for her to call me. Waited 3 days and no return call, so I called again and left another message to have a manager call me, waited 6 more days with still no return call. Called again today and gave them till 5pm today to return my call or hear from my attorney. Well it’s 5pm and no call back, they obviously do not care about their customers concerns and would rather go to court than call a long time customer back to see what can be done to remedy the situation.

To them finding wood borers and taking care of that major problem with no new outbreaks at all. To them two B ago finding termites trying to get through in my garage.
