<li>The male Jumping Spider will perform a courtship dance to attract mating females.</li>
<li>Before he can touch her, the female will perform an acceptance dance if she wants to mate with him.</li>
<li>Juvenile Jumping Spiders begin hunting prey shortly after hatching.</li>
<li>Jumping Spiders have four pairs of eyes with the ability to see in color.</li>
<li>The Jumping Spider is an asset to humans since their diet includes eating insects that damage crops.</li>
<li>Jumping Spiders reside in fields, fence posts, barns, dry grasslands and deserts (they can be found on cacti and shrubs).</li>
<li>Females die shortly after their young spiders leave the nest.</li>
</ul>
