Keep all doors closed whenever possible.

Inspect and repair any exposed entry points like doors, windows.

Small holes and gaps need to be sealed with caulk and steel wool.

Mice can fit through an opening as small as a bottle cap.

House mice prefer to nest in dark, secluded areas.

House mice are also known to spread diseases and contaminate food.

Keep areas clear and store boxes off of the floor because mice like to hide in clutter.

Regularly inspect the home for signs of mice, such as droppings, gnaw marks and damaged food.

Don’t forget, invasive pests want to be indoors during the winter for the same reasons you do. It is important to perform a comprehensive winter pest control treatment to insure that your home is protected.
