This review is long overdue. When it was time to schedule my annual service recently with Southern Pest Control, I specifically requested Ian because of the outstanding service he has provided over the years. Ian has consistently been friendly, accommodating, punctual, and respectful of my tenants’ homes. He takes pride in his work and is extremely knowledgeable in his field.
Ian first helped us maintain one of our rental properties that had minimal, but ongoing water bug issues. With his care and consistency, we were able to get the problem under control while others in the neighborhood continued to struggle with similar issues.
Later, we faced a much more serious rodent problem in a 1st floor apartment after a neighboring rental property created an infestation that ultimately affected our building. The situation was overwhelming and, at times, felt impossible to resolve. Ian approached the problem with focus, dedication, and practical, budget-friendly recommendations. He explained what needed to be done, returned regularly to inspect the progress, and continued to guide us until the issue was fully resolved.
Following Ian’s advice required time, effort, and additional repairs, including sealing entry points, closing crawlspace access, blocking openings near the air conditioning unit and garage, and renovating the laundry room connected to the affected area. Although it was a difficult process, I trusted Ian’s expertise, followed his recommendations, and the rodent issue was ultimately completely eradicated! (Update: 1+ year later and when he checked our bait boxes, there was ZERO evidence of rodents!).
Because of Ian, I have confidence that even the most challenging pest situations can be resolved when working with a knowledgeable professional and following their guidance. Almost two years later, I still request Ian whenever an issue arises at one of our properties because he is the person I trust to get the job done. Ian, we cannot THANK you enough.
