I am a new customer of Southern Pest Control, and I’m genuinely SO impressed! I like that I just paid one time and have them when needed for the whole year, it makes it so easy!My first service was done by Matt, and he was a pleasure to work with. He was very kind, thorough in explaining things. Within 24 hours of spraying, my ant problem was completely gone! Over the next couple weeks, I did see more spiders, which was explained to be normal, those were the ones hiding, and SPC came right back out for a second spray!I had Ian the second service, and he was just as kind and thorough as Matt! He was also very personable, noticing my kiddos starwars stuff in his room and struck up conversation with him about it. After he left, my son commented on how cool the pest control guy was 😂Genuinely such a good company, and I have referred them to numerous clients of mine already!

We've had very good experiences with this company. We live in a condo bldg that is infested with roaches. 2 years ago (2023) when a few first showed up in our unit, knowing that all the other units in the building had bad infestations, we signed up for a year contract so we could call and get service when we wanted/needed it -and not when the condo management got around to it (and dictated when treatment would be scheduled). Southern came and took care of our problem here in Columbia MD. Chelsea came twice when it was convenient for us and we got rid of them.Fast forward to June of '25 when we thought they had gotten in to our unit again after much rain the whole month we called Southern again. This time out technician was Garrett. He got here when promised, came in took a look at the couple bugs we had smashed and told us we did not have roaches this time. (thankfully!) Turned out they were earwigs and if we only had a couple we probably didn't need any treatment. And if we did reach that point we could simply call them and arrange another appointment. We elected not to to have any treatment and he was dead right. We didn't need it and now it's clear to us that we don't have any infestation of anything. It was just a couple guest appearances of a couple (3 total) earwigs trying to get out of the constant rain we had hadall month. Garrett was on time, pleasant, knowledgeable and knew exactly what we had. He then gave us the option to forego treatment and it's expense. We have been, and are still very pleased with this company's service. Highly recommend!

Southern Pest Control is the best company. The time that they schedule with you is the time they arrive. This punctuality and courtesy have been consistent for the many years that I have been a customer (since 1998). I have added termite, pest, and mosquito treatments. Southern’s men and women enjoy being with the company, and they all have been knowledgeable.Today, Nathan was outstanding—keeping me informed of his arrival, treatment, and departure. He picked up the dogs’ toys, so they didn’t inadvertently get sprayed with the chemical. He was concerned that my gate couldn’t be closed because it was broken. Excellent experience today and always. I can't say enough about the service we just received. Mr. Linwood Miller was our technician. First impression, he was on time for our appointment, identified himself at the door and brought in a couple of packages that were on our porch. He was very polite, trustworthy, courteous and throughly did the job he came to do. In this day and time, he is worth is weight in gold.We signed a 2 year termite and pest control agreement. We've been using Southern for the last 4 years or so and they have been the best company of any kind that we've worked with as homeowners. I have had a Termite contract with them for many years. When we moved from our first house here in VA, the termite inspection showed a small infestation under our crawl space- they came out, treated (no cost, due to having the contract) no problem. I've kept them all these years. I trust their technicians - and Matt ,- the technician who came out today to update our annual contract- was so helpful in answering some questions I did have. I appreciate SPC, their techs, and the fact that they don't continue to try and upsell you, if you say no. The cost for the peace of mind in having this Termite contract is worth every penny.

We had termite concerns so we scheduled an inspection ASAP. Matt came out and was awesome. He explained everything to us and we were lucky it wasn't active termite damage but he let us know about the warranty offered if it was a concern to us. He was knowledgeable and didn't pressure us at all. Will be glad to use Southern Pest again if we have any bug issues!

We have had a service plan with Southern Pest Control for nearly 6 years and don't see ourselves terminating that any time soon. Isaiah (hopefully spelled that correctly) came today (and has several times prior) and is always a wealth of knowledge and willing to think outside the box and offer solutions. He's also thinking 2-3 steps ahead with a plan of action for next time, and recommends follow-up and repeat services and treatments as would be beneficial. We've had numerous other technicians come out in the past and all have been professional, listened to my concerns, and recommended a solution for treatments, and we've been satisfied every time. Pricing is competitive, and customer service is always top notch.

I was calling to reschedule lawn services due to all of the rain, and I was incredibly lucky to have been connected with Stacey. WOW, what an incredible person!!!!There were no issues that I was having, just needed to reschedule services and figured it would be a quick and normal call . . . Nope, it became an experience to talk about; she improved my morning!She had such an empathetic tone, caring and calming voice that I could tell she was really listening to me. She was chatting with me while rescheduling my appointment (and the good kind of chatting, not the kind where you feel like it is a chore and all you want is for them to reschedule the appointment and then go on with your day) and from our conversation she realized, before I did, that modifying my services might better suit me and my family. Because I have pets and kids and we spend a lot of time outside she recommended services that I didn't even know they had. She even went above and beyond with helping me schedule follow-ups and making plans and the best options.We have been a customer for about 7 years now and have always been pleased with the service, but today Stacey made me feel even better!! Matt came out and de-webbed my entire outside of the house and then treated it to get rid of spiders. I also had a problem with ants and this was the second treatment and Matt knocked them out for me. He was polite and took pride in his work- the kind of person I want to provide me service. I asked him several questions and asked him to show me where he put the sticky traps in my garage. He had de-webbed around the door in my garage and window too. I was very happy with Southern Pest Control- Matt represents the company well.

Had our almost summer treatment yesterday, and I love that we chose Southern Pest Control. While their website for customer scheduling etc could use some updating, their staff and services are top notch! Isiah was the staff that came to do our pet lovers treatment and regular bug and mosquito treatment, he's so awesome! He's pet friendly, knowledgeable and so personable! Jared F was our technician on Friday March 14, 2025 and he was the best. I have a major fear of spiders and while his initial reason for servicing was our annual termite inspection, I asked if he could spray the perimeter of the house since it seems that the warm weather is here to stay and they (the Spiders) will begin to make their exits from their nest. Not only did he do an extensive spray he also knocked down the old webs that were around the windows and the edges of the house. He also gave me a time schedule of when I should call back for another spray. We've used Southern Pest for over 25 years and been extremely pleased. About our third year, we experienced a termite issue. SP immediately came out, repaired the damage, and implemented a mitigation strategy that has resulted in no recurrence. Ant problems have periodically occurred and SP comes out immediately to spray and lay traps. In all these years they have been prompt, courteous, and effective.

They came out got contract signed but couldnt do a complete treatment due to weather that day, technician told me i would have a call the following monday to reschedule that treatment NO CALLS yet. Now im being hounded to pay my monthly fee and they have never completed my intial contract which i paid a down payment of 96 bucks.So basically they took my money and ran.
